This Chardonnay typifies the soft, fruity, bright and crisp flavors that made the Russian River Valley famous for this varietal. The Chardonnay comes from three select vineyards in two distinctly different micro-climates ranging from very cool in the Green Valley area to warmer days in the Russian River plain area. The gravelly soil associated with the Russian River provides minerality and structure to grapes.
Aromas of apples and citrus combined with a hint of French oak make this wine enjoyable by itself or with food. Elegant and gentle with a rounded full-bodied texture and a pleasant finish, it's sure to please both those who do and don't like an oaky chard. Not too buttery, and no lack in flavor.
